Ginger Gondron began dancing at the age of 3 with Florence Coleman in Port Arthur, Texas.  After moving to Houston she continued her training under the direction of Margo Marshall where she became a principal dancer with City Ballet of Houston.  Other influential teachers were Robert Joffrey of the Joffrey ballet, Frederick Franklin; an original member of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Anna-Marie Holmes; International Ballet ballerina/teacher/choreographer, Keith Cross; international jazz dancer/teacher/choreographer and many other renowned classical ballet and jazz dance professionals.


Professional experience:   Principal dancer with Texas Dance Theatre, where she had the joy of partnering with Keith Cross for 6 years, Houston Grande Opera, Theatre Under the Stars, Houston Symphony Orchestra, soloist with the Delia Stewart Jazz Dance Company, principal dancer with City Ballet of Houston and others.   For three years, Ms. Gondron had the honor of being a guest performer at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Chicago, Illinois. 


A very popular teacher in classical ballet, jazz and contemporary  she has been invited as a Master Guest teacher for Ballet Arkansas, Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Little Rock Ballet, Lake Charles Civic Ballet, Lamar University Summer Intensive and the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. 


Ms. Gondron moved back to the Beaumont area in 1999 with her daughter, Madison.  She opened her own dance studio in Lumberton, Texas in 2003, where she happily  shares her experiences as a teacher and dancer here in Southeast Texas.
